'Cats Set to Hold 2008 Northwestern Wrestling Banquet

Reserve Your Spot Now For The 2008 Northwestern Wrestling Banquet 
EVANSTON, Ill. -- With an excellent 2007-08 season in the books, Northwestern's wrestling team will hold its annual wrestling banquet at 1 p.m., Saturday May 10 at Maggiano's at Old Orchard. The Wildcats invite you to join in the festivities and help recognize and celebrate a great season of Northwestern wrestling. The event is open to the public and reservations can be made using the above link. The cost is $30 per person.
Dinner will be served during the banquet while wrestlers, coaches and friends of the program will take time to highlight some of this year's achievements, including:
• Dustin Fox captured NCAA heavyweight title in second sudden victory thriller.
• Sophomore Brandon Precin finished seventh at 125 lbs.
• Northwestern again sent six representatives to NCAA Championships.
• Four Wildcats collected more than 25 wins.
• Mike Tamillow was runner-up at Big Ten Championships. Nick Hayes took fourth and Brandon Precin and Ryan Lang finished seventh.
• Fox also won Big Ten and Midlands heavyweight titles.
• Precin and Tamillow earned runner-up finishes at Midlands Championships.
• Final season in Wildcat careers of Dustin Fox, Mike Tamillow, Nick Hayes, Ryan Lang and Adil Kolovic.
Maggiano's at Old Orchard is located at 175 Old Orchard Center, in Skokie, Ill.
