Aaron Newman and Tommy Finn Visit Jane Addams School

At Jane Addams School in Palatine, each class has adopted a university to research and cheer for to encourage an eagerness for higher education. To show our support and appreciation of Shari Labinger's 6th grade class, "The Northwestern Wildcats," Aaron Newman and Tommy Finn of the Baseball team made a visit to the class on March 10 to talk about life as a student athlete and the college experience at Northwestern. After the visit, Ms. Labinger stated, "The Northwestern baseball players were an inspiration to my students. They are encouraged by their parents and teachers often, but the message seems to get through better when kids are encouraged by college students. We are so appreciative that Aaron Newman and Tommy Finn took the time out of their busy school and baseball schedules to come talk to us. Thank you!"
