Northwestern Names Hilton Garden Inn Athletes of the Week

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern has named Kevin Coble (Phoenix, Ariz./Scottsdale Christian Academy) of men's basketball and Andrea Hupman (Lawrenceville, Ga./Brookwood) of women's swimming as its Hilton Garden Inn Athletes of the Week.
Coble scored a career-high 37 points in Northwestern's inspired upset attempt against No. 15 Indiana Saturday evening at Welsh-Ryan Arena, connecting on 12-of-16 field goal attempts including five-of-six from behind the arc. He was a perfect 8-for-8 at the charity stripe against the Hoosiers.
In Northwestern's Tuesday contest versus Iowa, Coble contributed 12 points to average 24.5 points per game on the week. He had five rebounds in both games.
Hupman earned Swimmer of the Championships honors at the Big Ten Championships last weekend, breaking three Northwestern, pool and meet records in her individual events. Hupman captured a pair of Big Ten titles in the 100 free and 200 free, the first of her career and the first for NU in a swimming event since 2002.
Hupman also was a member of the 400 free and 800 free relays at the Championships, both of which broke school records as well.
