EVANSTON, Ill. -- Maria Mosolova, seeded fourth in the ITA National Indoor Singles Championships in Charlottesville, Va., overcame Marrit Boonstra of Florida in three sets, 1-6, 6-3, 7-5. Mosolova advances to Saturday's quarterfinals where she is slated to meet sixth-seeded Fani Chifchieva of Auburn.

In the women's singles back draw, Georgia Rose won her match Friday against Chelsy Gullickson of Georgia. Gullickson captured the opening set, 6-3, but Rose battled back to win the next two sets 6-4, 7-6 (8) to keep her tournament alive.
