Coach Combs Challenge - Help 'Paint' Coach Combs Purple

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Fans are invited to take part in the Coach Combs Challenge on Sunday, January 13. Last year, head women's basketball coach Beth Combs had to dye her hair purple when the attendance goal for the Purple Hair Dare was surpassed. This season if the attendance mark is hit, Coach Combs will spray her hair purple, paint her face and dress head-to-toe in crazy Wildcat gear to coach the Wildcats during their game against Ohio State. Tickets for the event start at just $2!
As an added incentive for fans to come out and support the team, with every ticket purchased to the game, fans will receive a scratch and win ticket loaded with great prizes compliments of U.S. Cellular, Motorola and Northwestern Athletics. The grand prizes include two suite tickets to watch a Chicago White Sox game with Coach Combs! Every ticket is a winner, so check out the Prize Key below to see what fantastic prizes you could win just by purchasing tickets to the Wildcats home game against Ohio State at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 13.
Other highlights for the day will include a game of Mascot Basketball at halftime. Scheduled to join Willie the Wildcat at the game are mascots from the Chicago Sky, Chicago Rush, Schaumburg Flyers, Chicago Wolves, Kane County Cougars, and other special guests.
Sunday is also scout day at the basketball game. All scouts will receive discount admission, opportunity to be on the court for starting line-ups, a 2008 Scout Day patch, as well as the ability to join the post-game basketball clinic run by the coaches and players of Northwestern Women's Basketball. The clinic is open to all scouts in the 8th grade or under.
