EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern men's basketball student-athlete Kevin Coble and his family are the subjects of a feature story that recently ran on the Big Ten Network. His decision to take a break from the basketball program to help his mother, Carlys, in her battle with breast cancer is the focus of the feature.

Northwestern alum Ann Kreiter recently sat down with the Coble family to discuss Kevin's choice to step away from basketball for the start of the season to be at his mother's side. Dan Lindberg produced the piece.

Coble is averaging team bests of 16.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game in his six contests since returning to the Wildcats' lineup.
