Scouting the Boilermakers
Purdue enters Sunday's match up on the heels of a huge 79-70 victory over Penn State on Thursday, ending the Lady Lions' 15-game home winning streak. The loss of four starters (two to graduation and two to injury) has influenced Purdue's record. The Old Gold and Black are 8-9 overall, with a 4-2 mark in the conference. The nine losses are already three more than head coach Sharon Versyp had all last season. The Boiler's schedule has been brutal, including three of the top 17 teams in the nation, but Purdue looks to capitalize in Big Ten play. Juniors Danielle Campbell and Lakisha Freeman pace the pack, scoring 12.6 and 12.8 points per game, respectively. Campbell leads the team with 8.1 boards per game.

The Series Against Purdue
Purdue holds a 36-18 advantage in the all-time series against Northwestern. The last time the Wildcats defeated the Boilermakers was in 1997.

Family Matters
Cousins Amy and Ellen Jaeschke have made an immediate impact at Northwestern. In 11 out of NU's 18 games, one Jaeschke has led the team in either scoring or rebounding. Amy notched a career-high 26 points against Michigan State on Thursday, marking the fifth time in 10 games she has been the leading scorer. She also pulled down 10 boards, signifying the fourth time she has been the Wildcats' leading rebounder. Ellen, a junior, has topped the scoring column three times in 17 games and been the rebounding leader on five occasions. The two Jaeschke's accounted for 38 of NU's 62 points against MSU Thursday.

May I Help You?

Reed is also tied for fourth in three-point FG made (1.83) and seventh in three-point percentage (.355).
