EVANSTON, Ill. -- Sophomore Georgia Rose (Mettawa, Ill./North Shore Country Day) is being featured this week by the United States Tennis Association (USTA). The Wildcat touched on a variety of topics in her interview, ranging from why she chose Northwestern to her favorite band and sports team.

The reigning Big Ten Player of the Year and Big Ten Freshman of the Year Samantha Murray (Altrincham, England/Altrincham Grammar) received bids to the NCAA singles draw and Rose and partner Alexis Prousis (Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest) will compete in the doubles bracket.

Rose and the Wildcats take on Western Michigan in the first round of the NCAA tournament at 2 p.m. Friday at NU's Vandy Christie Tennis Center.
