EVANSTON, Ill. - Rain in the Evanston area has caused baseball officials to cancel Northwestern's game vs. Illinois Institute of Technology Wednesday afternoon. The nine-inning affair was set to begin at 3 p.m. at NU's Rocky Miller Park but a constant rain with no end in the forecast prompted the cancellation. No make-up date has been scheduled.

NU is next in action when it hosts the Iowa Hawkeyes for a four-game conference series this weekend at Rocky Miller Park. Game one is set for 3 p.m. Friday afternoon.
