Northwestern Announces Wildcat Women's Sport Weekend Festivities

EVANSTON, Ill. -- The Spring 2007 Wildcat Women's Sport (extended) Weekend sponsored by the N Club, takes place Friday, April 13 through Monday, April 16. Northwestern is celebrating the talent of our nationally ranked women's sports teams with several events and special promotions throughout the weekend.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
Friday, April 13 --
Women's Tennis vs. Notre Dame @ 3 p.m.
Softball vs. Ohio State @ 4 p.m.
Saturday, April 14 --
Women's Tennis vs. Minnesota @ 11 a.m.
Lacrosse vs. Penn State @ Noon
Softball vs. Ohio State @ Noon
Sunday, April 15 --
Women's Tennis vs. Iowa @ 11 a.m.
Softball vs. Penn State (DH) @ Noon
Monday, April 16 -- Lacrosse vs. Maryland @ 4 p.m.
Admission is FREE to all events!
* Softball at Sharon J. Drysdale Field
* Lacrosse at the Leonard B. Thomas Athletic Complex
* Women's Tennis at Vandy Christie Tennis Center or Combe Tennis Center (weather dependent)
OVERTIME WITH THE 'CATS
Meet the teams after selection games. Kids in the eighth grade and under will have the chance to come on to the field or court and see what it's like to be a real Wildcat, just like their favorite teams.
Tennis -- Saturday following Minnesota match
Softball -- Sunday following the Penn State doubleheader
Lacrosse -- Monday following the Maryland game
Other special activities planned for the weekend:
* Autographs after selected games
* T-shirt giveaways
* Appearances by Willie the Wildcat
* $1 Vienna Beef hot dogs during select promotions at several events
