Session Two begins at 5 p.m. CT.

to watch Tamillow's takedown to open his first match.
to watch Lang's reversal in overtime of his quarterfinal match.
Lang, the No. 2 seed at 141 lbs., battled through two close matches to advance to the semifinals. He downed Penn State's Bryan Heller in his pigtail match, 3-0. Lang's takedown in the second frame proved to be the match-winner.
He needed overtime to top seventh-seeded J Jaggers of Ohio State in the quarterfinals. The first period ended scoreless and Lang took a 1-0 lead with an escape in the second.
The Buckeye scored an escape in the third and the match went into overtime with the score tied at 1-1.
The first overtime ended with no score and Lang started down to begin the second extra period. The junior turned the tables quickly, pulling ahead with a two-point reversal. He kept his two-point lead through the end of the third frame and advanced to the semifinals with a 3-1 decision.
He will face sixth-seeded Alex Tsirtis of Iowa in tonight's semifinal.
Herbert advanced to the 184-pound semifinals without wrestling a match. The junior received a bye through the first round, but his quarterfinal opponent -- eighth-seeded Trevor Brandvold of Wisconsin -- defaulted the match before it began. Herbert will take on Michigan's fourth-seeded Tyrel Todd in the semifinals.
Tamillow advanced through his pigtail and into the quarterfinals with a 12-2 major decision over Minnesota's Yura Malamura. Tamillow wasted little time getting ahead of the Gopher, scoring his first two points on a takedown in the first five seconds of the first period. Tamillow notched four more takedowns en route to the major decision.
His next opponent was seventh-seeded Nick Roy of Michigan. Tamillow downed the Wolverine in their dual season finale and scored his second win over Roy in as many matches with a 7-3 decision.
Roy struck first with an early takedown, but Tamillow pulled ahead 3-2 after the first period with an escape and a takedown.
The junior used an escape and a takedown in the second to advance to the semifinals where he will face third-seeded Patrick Bond of Illinois.
Fox, who by mandate of hair length had to trim his shaggy locks, cruised into the quarterfinals with an 8-0 major decision over Michigan State's Alan O'Donnell at heavyweight. MSU was penalized several points throughout the match, but Fox registered a late takedown in the third to take the major decision with riding time.
Indiana's sixth-seeded Josh Buuck gave Fox all he could handle in their quarterfinal match. The Hoosier got on the board first with a two-point takedown. Fox made the score 2-1 with a late escape.
Buuck went ahead 3-1 with an escape in the second, but business picked up in the third period. Fox escaped early and scored a takedown to make the score 4-3 in favor of the Wildcat. Indiana collected a penalty point to tie the score at 4-4, but Fox's heavy riding time advantage gave him the 5-4 decision. He will face Penn State's second-seeded Aaron Anspach in the semifinals.
Sixth-seeded Brandon Precin (Orland Park, Ill./Carl Sandburg), who had a bye to the quarterfinals of the 125-pound bracket, fell by 14-3 major decision to third-seeded Angel Escobedo of Indiana. He faces the winner of seveth-seeded Mark McKnight of Penn State and Michigan's Mike Watts in the consolation bracket.
At 174, sixth-seeded Nick Hayes (Council Bluffs, Iowa/Lewis Central) had a bye to the quarterfinals where he faced third-seeded Steve Luke of Michigan. Hayes fell to Luke in his last match -- a dual bout at Welsh-Ryan Arena -- in overtime.
Their quarterfinal match also needed an extra frame to determine a winner. Both wrestlers traded escapes through the second and third period to force overtime.
Similar to their encounter two weeks ago, Luke notched the crucial takedown and took the 3-1 decision. Hayes will face Michigan State's John Murphy in the consolation bracket tonight.
Eric Metzler (Luxemburg, Wis./Luxemburg-Casco) fell to No. 5 seed Jake Strayer of Penn State by a 10-1 major decision. He will face Minnesota's third-seeded Mack Reiter in the consolation bracket this evening.
At 149, Marty Gould (Lincolnwood, Ill./Niles West) was pinned by No. 3 seed Lance Palmer of Ohio State. He will meet Purdue's fourth-seeded Jake Patacsil in the consolation bracket.
Dominic Marella (Roselle, Ill./Conant) surrendered a 9-0 major decision to Michigan's eighth-seeded Rob Sulaver. He takes on Purdue's seventh-seeded Jake Murphy tonight.
At 165 lbs., Greg Hagel (Linwood, N.J./Blair Academy) wrestled a close match against Minnesota's third-seeded Tyler Safratowich, matching him point-for-point through the first two periods.
The first period saw furious action with Hagel managing a two-point reversal and one-point escape. The second was just as action-packed as the two matched reversals early. The Gopher controlled the third with two takedowns and a two-point near-fall to take a 14-7 decision. Hagel will face Illinois' fourth-seeded Roger Smith-Bergsrud in the consolation.
