Northwestern University's Athletic Department has developed the following procedures to accommodate the high volume of requests it receives each year from charitable and educational organizations. NU is committed to giving back to the Evanston and Chicagoland communities; as a result priority will be given to local organizations.

Policies Governing Donations:
Only requests made by a bonafide charitable or educational organization will be considered. Proof of 501c nonprofit status may be required.

In addition, an institution may not donate to any organization for the purpose of raising funds to provide financial assistance to high-school students to attend the collegiate institutions of their choice.
