EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern has named Tyrell Sutton (Akron, Ohio/Archbishop Hoban) of football and Katie Braun (Edina, Minn./Edina) of women's swimming as its Hilton Garden Inn Athletes of the Week.

Sutton racked up 116 yards on the ground with a touchdown and caught a team-high seven passes for 40 yards in the loss to Iowa on Saturday. The junior's performance marked his first 100-yard rushing day since returning from injury and his second this season. His performance moved him up four spots to No. 5 on NU's career all-purpose yardage list with 3,591.

Braun helped Northwestern to a win over Purdue, which was NU's first against the perennial power since 1999. The senior won both butterfly events, including a lifetime best and NCAA 'B' provisional qualifying standard of 2:02.11 in the 200, while helping sweep the 200 IM with a second-place finish in the second-to-last event to put Northwestern in position to win the meet.
