EVANSTON, Ill. -- The Big Ten has announced the winter Academic All-Conference teams, honoring a total of 25 Northwestern student-athletes in five sports.

The Wildcats earned accolades in men's baseketball, women's basketball, men's swimming, women's swimming and wrestling.

To earn Academic All-Big Ten recognition, a student-athlete must be in his/her second year at the institution, letter in his/her sport, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.

Following are the Northwestern student-athletes honored during the winter season:
