2006 Year End Giving Instructions

Happy New Year! Our offices will be closed from Dec. 29 through Jan. 1, 2007. Here are some directions to assist you with your year end giving.

For 2006 Gifts:
1. GIFTS BY CHECK - Please make check payable to Northwestern University - Wildcat Fund and send to: Northwestern Athletic Department, 1501 Central Street, Evanston, IL 60208. The envelope needs to be postmarked by December 31, 2006 in order to receive a tax receipt for calendar year 2006.
Important note: Please don't mail a credit card gift. If we receive it after January 1, 2007 (even with your envelope postmarked in 2006) the gift will be processed as a 2007 gift. If you would like to make a gift using a credit card follow the instructions below.
2. GIFTS USING A CREDIT CARD - If you would like to make a year end gift using a credit card you can do up until 10:50pm on December 31, 2006 by visiting our website at www.development.northwestern.edu. When you get to the web site please look for the giving online link (located at the top of the page toward the right hand side) and click on the icon. This will take you to the step-by-step instructions for making an online gift. Please don't forget to indicate that your gift is for the Wildcat Fund, which is located under other priorities.
