Wildcats Add Jennifer Eckhart To Roster

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern women's basketball head coach Beth Combs announced today that Jennifer Eckhart (Libertyville, Ill./Carmel H.S.) will transfer to NU for the winter 2007 term. Eckhart attended Syracuse University in 2005-06. Due to NCAA transfer rules she will not be eligible until the 2007-08 academic year.
"We are so glad to make Jennifer a member of our Wildcat family," Combs said. "We are anxious to get her out on the court next season and are looking forward to the experience she will bring to the team."
Eckhart, a 5-9 guard from Libertyville, Ill., saw action in 27 games during her freshman campaign for the Orange, averaging 9.9 ppg.
