Doubles Pair Falls at ITA Indoor National Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Senior Alexis Prousis (Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest) and sophomore Georgia Rose (Mettawa, Ill./North Shore Country Day) dropped their first round match Thursday at the ITA Indoor National Champioinships hosted by Ohio State University, 8-5. Play in the consolation draw begins Friday.

Prousis and Rose fell to the team of Sara Anundsen and Jenna Long from North Carolina. They will play Georgia Tech's Kristi Miller and Alison Silverio in the consolation draw Friday. The pair of Yellow Jackets fell to Notre Dame's Buck/Tefft in their first round match.

Prousis and Rose received one of five at-large selections into the 16-team field at the ITA Indoor National Championships. The rest of the Wildcats are in action this weekend at the Bronco Invite hosted by Western Michigan University.
