Anthony Wycklendt Selected to All-Mideast Region Baseball Team

EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern outfielder Anthony Wycklendt (Glendale, Wis. /Nicolet) was selected as a member of the NCAA All-Mideast Region baseball team. Wycklendt received second-team honors and joined a cast of impressive players that represent a variety of good teams in the region.

Wycklendt finished the season third in the Big Ten with 10 home runs, and became the NU first player to hit 10 home runs in a season since Joe Hietpas in 1999. Wyckelndt ended the year with a team high 52 RBI's that complimented a .311 batting average.

The Big Ten and MAC led all conferences with 12 selections.
