EVANSTON, Ill. - Juniors Mohamed Hachad (Montreal, Quebec/Champlain St.-Lambert) and Lindsey Munday (Mountain Lakes, N.J./Mountain Lakes) have been named Northwestern's Hilton Garden Inn Athletes of the Week.

Hachad had two nice efforts for the Northwestern men's basketball team at this weekend's Big Ten Tournament. He went for 17 points in Thursday's first-round win against Michigan, then followed that up with a career-high 23 points and nine rebounds in NU's quarterfinal loss to No. 1 Illinois. Hachad also tallied four assists and four steals on the weekend. Hachad ended the season with seven straight double-figure scoring games.

Munday continued her hot play of late, leading the third-ranked Wildcats women's lacrosse team in its win over Penn Saturday afternoon at the Thomas Athletic Complex. Munday did not score, but she dished out four second-half assists as the 'Cats improved to 6-0 for the first time in the modern era (since 2002). Munday leads NU in scoring with 14 goals and 14 assists.
