EVANSTON, Ill. - Juniors Mohamed Hachad (Montreal, Quebec/Champlain St.-Lambert) and Courtnay Foster (Tucson, Ariz./Sahuaro) have been named Northwestern's Hilton Garden Inn Athletes of the Week.

Hachad seems to be raising his game at just the right time. He led the Wildcats with 15 points and eight rebounds in the loss at No. 1 Illinois Wednesday, then followed that up with 14 points and seven more boards as well as three assists in Saturday's win against Michigan. He also had several highlight-reel plays against the Wolverines, bringing the crowd out of its seat on a number of occasions.

Foster gave up just a single run in 21 innings of work at the Palm Springs Classic, earning a 2-1 record with a save. She opened the event with 13 strikeouts and a shutout of No. 23/25 Long Beach State. She concluded the Classic with 10 strikeouts in six innings of scoreless relief to earn the win against No. 20 Pacific. She also got the final three outs to earn her first save of the season in NU's 3-2 win against No. 12 Washington. Foster finished with 31 whiffs in 21 innings of work and a 0.33 ERA in the desert.
