Chelsea Davis Named Big Ten Diver of the Week

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Freshman diver Chelsea Davis (Columbus, Ohio./Worthington Kilbourne) has been named the Big Ten Diver of the Week for the first time in her career after breaking a pair of Wisconsin pool records last week.
The freshman shattered both Badger pool records, posting a mark of 339.00 in the one-meter event, breaking the record by 22 points. Her score of 413.55 on the three-meter board was good enough to break the record by 92 points. Both marks were career bests for Davis.
Davis joins men's diver Ryan McIntosh (Louisville, Ky./Trinity) in a sweep of the Big Ten Diver of the Week honors.
Northwestern returns to action this Friday-Sunday, Nov. 18-20, at the Purdue Invitational.
