EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern University Head Women's Basketball Coach Beth Combs announced today that Nadia Bibbs (Chicago, Ill./Hillcrest) has accepted an offer of admission from the University and is joining the Wildcat program as a transfer from Boston University.

Bibbs will begin classes at Northwestern this fall; she will sit out the 2004-05 season due to NCAA transfer rules and be eligible to play as a junior in 2005-06.

"We are excited to have Nadia join our program and she will be a great addition to Northwestern basketball," said Combs. "She returns home to the Chicago area and will make an impact for us at the guard spot. Nadia represents the beginning of great things to come for Wildcat basketball."
