EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern women's basketball coach Beth Combs gave birth to her first child last week with the arrival of Jack Spycher Combs. Beth and her husband John went to Evanston Memorial Hospital Tuesday evening before delivering Jack at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday morning (Aug. 12). The baby weighed in at 7 pounds 11 ounces.

Beth, John and little Jack are doing fine!
