EVANSTON, Ill. -- The Big Ten Conference announced its Academic All-Big Ten honorees for the 2004 spring season, and a total of 44 Northwestern athletes were included from eight sports (baseball, softball, men's and women's golf, women's lacrosse, women's fencing, men's and women's tennis).
To earn Academic All-Big Ten, you must letter in your sport and carry a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or better while in at least your second year of attendance at the school.
