EVANSTON, Ill. - The Big Ten announced the fall 2004 Academic All-Big Ten teams, and a total of 61 Northwestern athletes were honored. The sports that were honored for the fall were cross country, field hockey, football, men's and women's soccer, and volleyball.
To earn Academic All-Big Ten recognition, an athlete must be in his/her second year at the institution, letter in his/her sport, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
