EVANSTON, Ill. -- Redshirt freshman wrestler Ryan Lang (North Royalton, Ohio/St. Edward's) and senior Suzanne Morrison (Franklin, Mich./Detroit Country Day) of women's basketball have been named Northwestern's Hilton Garden Inn Athletes of the Week.

In the first dual match of his collegiate career, Lang earned a major decision with a 15-3 whipping of his opponent at 141 lbs. in Friday's dual meet against Northern Illinois. Lang's dominating win came in the opening match of the afternoon and set the tone for the Wildcats' 21-13 upset of the No. 23 Huskies.

The 6-foot-1 forward also netted a team-high 11 points in the first game of the Invitational against No. 24 Houston. She was named to the All-Tournament team for her efforts.
