SAAC Holiday Food Drive Is Underway

EVANSTON, Ill. - The Sixth Annual Northwestern Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Holiday Food Drive is underway!

Basketball fans can bring their canned-good donations to this Saturday's men's basketball game against Chicago State, which tips off at 7 p.m. Fans who bring a donation can purchase game tickets for just $8 that night, which is half off the regular ticket price. NU students who bring an item will receive a free Wildcat basketball t-shirt!

The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will be donating all food items to Family Focus in Evanston. The mission of Family Focus is to promote the well-being of children from birth by supporting and strengthening their families in and with their communities.

SAAC hopes to reach their set goal of 2,500 items, so be sure to head out to Welsh-Ryan Arena on Saturday at 7 p.m. to help SAAC and Family Focus of Evanston.
