EVANSTON, Ill. - Freshman Audra Cohen won two matches on Tuesday, Oct. 5 to advance to the third round of the ITA All-American Championships.
Cohen began the day by beating Dianne Matias of USC 6-2, 6-0. She then played Caroline Raba of Pepperdine, winning 6-1, 6-3.
Cohen improves her record to 9-0 on the fall season, and next plays against Suzanna Lingman of Harvard Wednesday, Oct. 6.
Junior Jamie Peisel (Savannah, Ga./Savannah Country Day) and graduate student Valerie Vladea (Tiffin, Iowa/Minnesota) fell in the first round of the doubles qualifier to Koskowski and Raba of Pepperdine 8-6.
