Sophomore goalkeeper Justin Pines (Media, Pa./Strath Haven) and sophomore diver Leanne Dumais (Ventura, Calif./Buena) have been named Northwestern's Hilton Garden Inn Athletes of the Week.

Pines had an outstanding Big Ten Tournament, shutting out both No. 12 Penn State and Michigan before allowing only a single goal in the Wildcats' 1-0 loss to Michigan State in the championship match. The sophomore made three saves in NU's overtime win against the Nittany Lions and four saves in his shutout of the Wolverines. His fives saves against MSU kept the Wildcats within striking distance. He had a 308-minute shutout streak spanning four games dating back to the regular-season finale against Wisconsin.

Dumais continued a strong fall season over the weekend by winning both the one and three-meter board competitions against No. 10 Wisconsin Saturday at the Norris Aquatic Center. She dominated the field of five in the one-meter board, claiming first place by a margin of 47 points. Against Purdue on Friday, she claimed third-place in both board competitions out of a field of five. This is the second Athlete of the Week honor for Dumais so far this year.
