EVANSTON, Ill. - Senior Cristelle Grier (Epsom/England, Putney) and freshman Audra Cohen (Plantation, Fla./St. Thomas Aquinas) won two matches on Friday, Oct. 8 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-American Championships to advance into the semifinals.

Cohen beat Carlotti of Mississippi 6-2, 6-2, and Bradley of Miami (Fla.) 7-6, 6-2, improving to 13-0 on the year.

Grier -- the No. 1 player in the country -- defeated Burdette of Stanford 6-4, 6-2, and Karnaukhova of Sacramento 6-2, 6-1, improving to 6-1 on the year.

With both players set to compete in the semifinals Saturday, Oct. 9, they could meet in their second finals match of the fall season. Cohen won their first matchup at the Rice Classic 6-3, 7-5. The finals of the championships are Sunday, Oct. 10.
