NU Winter Athletes Cited For Academic All-Big Ten

EVANSTON, Ill. - The Big Ten Conference announced Academic All-Big Ten honors for its winter sports today, and 26 Northwestern athletes were cited. The Wildcat teams that were eligible for winter honors were men's and women's basketball, men's and women's swimming, and wrestling. Fencing, though a winter sport, will be listed during the spring announcement in May.
To earn Academic All-Big Ten, an athlete must letter in his/her sport and have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or better.
