Baseball Adds South Florida to Spring Break Trip

EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern head baseball coach Paul Stevens announced the addition of South Florida to the Wildcats' now-eight game Spring Break Trip to Bradenton, Fla. NU will play at South Florida Monday night at 7 p.m.

With the added game, NU will play four nine-inning games on consecutive days beginning with Northeastern at 7 p.m., Friday March 21. Games against Army (March 22) and a rematch with Northeastern (March 23) precede the South Florida contest.

The 'Cats will open the 2003 Big Ten conference season against Ohio State while in Florida, starting the four-game series at 1 p.m., Thursday March 27.
