EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern Women's Cross Country Head Coach Amy Tush announced the signing of two women to National Letters of Intent during the early signing period in November.

Alison Coren (Wheeling, Ill./Wheeling) and Marie Grabinski (Carmel, Ind./Carmel) will matriculate at Northwestern next year and be eligible to run for the Wildcats in the fall of 2004.

"We are very excited about adding Alison and Marie to our team next season," said Tush. "Their excitement for the sport will add depth and bring together an already successful team."

Northwestern-which ran at the NCAA Cross Country Championships in 2002-recently completed its 2003 season with a seventh-place finish at the Midwest Regional Championships. The Wildcats will lose three women who were scorers in that meet: Emily Blakeslee (Rockford, Mich./Rockford), Nora Colligan (Rockford, Mich./Rockford) and Nicole Kalogeropoulos (Hoffman Estates, Ill./Fremd).
