EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern's men's and women's tennis programs are teaming up for the inaugural "Cat Am" event September 13 and 14.

Fans can enjoy an evening of fun, food, cocktails and door prizes on Friday, September 13. The price of admission is $25, and the activities begin at 7 p.m. in the Heritage Room of the Omni Orrington Hotel.

Each player will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. That person will be paired with his Wildcat partner the following morning in a pro-am style tournament at the Christie Tennis Center.

"Both Claire Pollard and I are excited about this event," said men's Head Coach Paul Torricelli. "It is a great way to support both programs, and it provides an opportunity for the community to become more involved with our players."

For more information, contact Coach Torricelli at 847-491-4644 or Coach Pollard at 847-491-4643.
