Fans Enjoy 2002 'Cat Am'

EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern's men's and women's tennis programs held the inaugural "Cat Am" event September 13 and 14.

Fans were treated to an evening of fun, food and door prizes on Friday, September 13. An auction was also held and the next day the winning bidders paired up with their Wildcat favorites for some tennis.

"It was a great first event," said NU women's tennis coach Claire Pollard. "We wanted to get some of our fans out and we did. The people who played really had a good time. We look forward to doing it again next year."

Next year's "Cat Am" is slated for the same weekend.
