EVANSTON, Ill. - With 14 new players joining his program in August, Northwestern men's soccer coach Tim Lenahan is working quickly to "Build Something Special" at Lakeside Field.

Recently, the effort he and his staff put in to recruiting this year's class was recognized. The Wildcats' incoming class has been ranked as the 28th-best nationally by College Soccer News, one of the leading authorities of the college soccer game in America. Compounding that ranking, only three Big Ten schools -- defending NCAA runner-up Indiana (4), Penn State (7) and Michigan (27) -- are listed ahead of NU.

"It's a good start for first-year recruiting -- they recognized the talent and the depth of this class," said Lenahan. "This again shows the potential of this class, but we still have to go out and prove it on the field."
