DOUBLES (in order of finish)
No. 3 Katie McGaffigan/Lindsay Martin (UW) def. Alicia Salas/Sarah Jane Connelly (ND), 8-5
Both teams got off to a slow start, trading points until 3-3. The Badgers, serving earned the next point to take their first lead of the match (4-3). The won the next two before Notre Dame could pick up another point. The Irish got within one (5-6) before Wisconsin took the last two to secure the win.
No. 2 Becky Varnum/Nina Vaughan (ND) def. Katie Dougherty/Teresa Gonzaga (UW), 8-6
Notre Dame opened the match with two quick points before the Badgers rallied. The two traded points, tying the match three times. At 6-6, and the Badgers serving, Notre Dame won the point to take the lead. The Irish, serving for match point, put it away to win the match 8-6.
No. 1 Lindsey Green/Katie Cunha (ND) def. Linde Mues/Lara Vojnov (UW), 9-8(7)
Wisconsin fought off four match points before tying the match at 8-8, but the Irish couldn't be stopped, winning the point to force the tiebreaker. In the tiebreaker, Notre Dame took a 2-0 lead before the Badgers could get on the board. Wisconsin got as close as 4-2, but could not muster a rally. The Irish went up 6-3, and clinched the match on a double-fault by the Badgers.

SINGLES (in order of finish)
No. 3 Shana McElroy (UW) def. Nina Vaughan (ND), 6-2, 6-2
McElroy lost the first game and was level with Vaughan, 2-2, after four. She proceeded to win the next seven games and nine of the next 10, though, to take control of the match.
No. 2 Linda Mues (UW) def. Lindsey Greene (ND), 6-2, 6-2
Mues took control of both sets early, winning the first four games in the first set and the first three games in the second set. In the second set, Greene was able to get back to within 3-2, before Mues regained the edge and won the final three games.
No. 5 Katie Cunha (ND) def. Katie Dougherty (UW), 6-2, 6-0
The match started slowly, but once Cunha got going she never lost control. The match was tied, 2-2, in the first set, but Cunha did not lose another game in taking the victory and bringing Notre Dame even with Wisconsin in matches (2-2).
No. 4 Katie McGaffigan (UW) def. Alicia Salas (ND), 6-4, 2-6, 6-2
In the only match that went three sets and finished, McGaffigan gained the edge with a first-set win before being broken twice and losing the second set, 6-2. In the third set, Salas won the first game but McGaffigan took control by winning the next three. Salas won again to make the third set 3-2, but McGaffigan broke serve twice to complete the win.
No. 1 Vanessa Rauh (UW) def. Becky Varnum (ND), 7-6 (8-6), 7-6 (4)
This match got testy at times, as Rauh outlasted Varnum with a pair of tiebreakers. Neither player held more than a game lead in the first set, and the tiebreaker went beyond the normal 12-point barrier before Rauh pulled out an 8-6 victory. The second set was more of the same, as neither player held more than a game lead. In the tiebreaker, Rauh scored five of the first six points to take charge. Varnum staved off two match points before succumbing, 7-4.
