Baseball and Softball Games Canceled

Northwestern's baseball and softball games were canceled today because of inclement weather in Champaign, Ill. and Minneapolis, Minn. Baseball traveled to Champaign for a four-game conference series while softball was in Minneapolis for a two game set.
The baseball team was scheduled to play two seven-inning games today beginning at 4:05 pm vs. the University of Illinois. NU won Game 1, 9-2, Friday night and is now scheduled to play two seven-inning games at 1 p.m., Sunday afternoon at Illinois' Illinois Field.
The softball team was schedule to play the second game of a two-game series vs. the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. NU won the first game 4-1. NU is next in action, traveling to Madison for a noontime doubleheader against the Badgers.
