Women's Tennis Begins Quest for Fourth Straight Title

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The 14th-ranked Wildcat women's tennis team will begin its quest for a fourth straight Big Ten title Friday morning as they take on eighth-seeded Purdue. The match will be held at the Indiana University Tennis Center and set to begin at 9 a.m.
Northwestern (18-5, 10-0) earned a bye for the first round, and begins championship play tomorrow. The 'Cats hope the old adage is right -- history repeats itself. NU defeated the Purdue Boilermakers, 4-1, in the quarterfinal round of the Big Ten Championships last year.
