Women's Lacrosse to Host Midwest Challenge

EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern University will host the USA Midwest Lacrosse Challenge and Developmental Lacrosse Clinic this weekend at Lakeside Field. The two-day event will feature the United States Women's Lacrosse Association's (USWLA) Developmental Team playing games against the Wildcats and Notre Dame, and a clinic co-hosted by the Developmental Team and the Northwestern team.
The event begins Saturday at 9:30 a.m., when the U.S. meets Northwestern, which is embarking on its inaugural season back as a varsity program. Following that contest, from 12:15-3:45, the Wildcats and the U.S. team will conduct a clinic at Lakeside Field. Registration for the event begins at noon.
The cost to participate in Saturday's clinic is $45. You can register for the clinic by calling head coach Kelly Amonte Hiller at (847) 491-2796.
On Sunday, November 4, the U.S. Team will meet Notre Dame at Lakeside Field in a 10 a.m. start. Following the game, for approximately a half-hour, the U.S. Team will be available to youngsters for an autograph session.
