MADISON, Wis. -- As the 2001 Omni Hotels Midwest Regional Championships come to a close, the final match will feature third-seeded Lia Jackson and fifth-seeded Marine Piriou.

Jackson defeated teammate Jessica Rush (6-3, 7-6(9-7)) in a close semifinals match Monday afternoon to advance to the title match. Piriou swept through the 64-person bracket to meet Purdue's Melissa Iqbal in the semifinals. Piriou defeated Iqbal 6-2, 6-2 to claim the remaining spot in the finale.

The championship match is set for 9 a.m. Tuesday morning at the Nielsen Tennis Facility on the University of Wisconsin campus.
