Women's Golf Finishes Third at Big 12 Invitational

STILLWATER, Okla. - The Northwestern women's golf team finished third out of 16 teams at the Big 12 Invitational, which was held Monday and Tuesday at the Karsten Creek GC in Stillwater, Okla.
The Wildcats carded a three-round total of 927 and finished 19 strokes off the pace set by host and champion Oklahoma State. Ohio State, the only other Big Ten school in the event, was second with a 923.
Northwestern was led by the Kim sisters, freshman Ina and sophomore Hana. Ina Kim fired a 78-71-79=228 to finish 12 over par and tied for seventh overall. Hana Kim shot 78-68-83=229 (+13) and tied with three others for 10th place.
Emily Gilley finished alone in 18th place with 76-80-77=233 (+17), while Elizabeth Burden tied for 30th with 77-77-84=238 (+22). Mary Ellen Grzebien rounded out Northwestern's contingent by tying for 48th with 82-79-88=249.
Stacy Prammanasudh of Tulsa was the only player to break par for the tournament, firing 71-72-70=213 to finish 3-under-par.
