Women's Tennis Rolls Over DePaul, 9-0

EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern University women's tennis team used straight-set victories in all six singles matches and rolled in doubles to defeat DePaul, 9-0, Wednesday afternoon at the Johnson Tennis Center.
No Wildcat player was significantly threatened in singles, as no one lost more than five games in their two-set match. At No. 1, Colleen Cheng defeated Laura Taylor (6-1, 6-0). In doubles, Cheng and Jessica Rush won at No. 1 (8-1), Shannon Duffy and Marine Piriou won at No. 2 (8-1), and Lia Jackson and Simona Petrutio won at No. 3 (8-4).
Northwestern will be in action twice this weekend, meeting Brigham Young University on Saturday and Utah on Sunday.
