Jack Griffin Named Assistant Director of Development

EVANSTON, Ill. - Jack Griffin was named today an assistant director of development for Northwestern athletics. The announcement was made by NU athletic director Rick Taylor.

Griffin is no stranger to the Northwestern athletic program. He graduated from NU in 1990 with a B.A. in human development, was a two-time wrestling All-American and won the 1990 NCAA Wrestling Champion at 118 pounds. Griffin finished his career as NU's all-time winningest wrestler, and captured Big Ten titles in 1989 and 1990.

Prior to his appointment in development, Griffin served as the Wildcats' assistant wrestling coach for six seasons. The 32-year-old resides in Skokie, Ill., with his wife, Monica, and their newborn son Jake.
