EVANSTON, ILL. - The Northwestern University baseball team, scheduled to play the third game of Wednesday's action at the Big Ten Tournament in Minneapolis, were instead postponed when a rain delay and extra-inning game combined to end the second game at 9:35 p.m.

Northwestern and Minnesota will now resume play at approximately 3 p.m. on Thursday at Siebert Field. If the Wildcats win they will play Purdue (a 3-2 loser in 12 inning to Illinois) at a time to be announced later. If NU loses that game, they will be forced to come right back and play Ohio State (an 8-7 loser to Penn State) in the nightcap.
