DALLAS, Texas - The Northwestern University women's golf team, the host for this weekend's Midwest Classic in Dallas, Texas, carded a team score of 319 Sunday to finish fifth in the 16-team tournament.

The Wildcats shot a three-round total of 957 to finish 21 strokes behind champion Texas Christian University. Missouri was second with a total of 942, while Michigan State was third (945) and Nebraska was fourth (948).

Sophomore Emily Gilley carded a final-round 75, the lowest of the day (along with Wisconsin's Katie Prieve), and finished the tournament with an 11-over par 227 to finish second overall. Gilley was just one stroke off the pace set by TCU's Angela Stanford, the fifth-ranked golfer in the country.
