EVANSTON, Ill. - Sophomore Rachel Evjen (Eau Claire, Wis./North) finished 126th out of 252 runners who finished at the NCAA National Championship Women's Cross Country Meet Monday morning. The 6-kilometer race was run in Ames, Iowa.
Evjen, who led the Wildcats in every race she ran this fall, ran as an individual in the meet and clocked 22:11.7. She was 1:41 off the pace set by individual champion Kara Grgas-Wheeler of Colorado (20:30.5).
Paced by Grgas, Colorado won the team title with 117 points.
