EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern has named its Athletes of the Week for October 30. The selections were made based on athletic action from October 23-29.
MALE -- ZAK KUSTOK, FOOTBALL
Junior Zak Kustok (Orland Park, Ill./Carl Sandburg) led the football team to a stunning 41-35 comeback victory against Minnesota. He ran for 90 yards on the day, scoring two touchdowns, and completed 18 passes for 209 yards and two more TDs. Perhaps most impressively, four of Northwestern's touchdowns came on fourth-down plays, and Kustok also completed a 34-yard pass on a fourth-and-20 play. Gilley's three round total of 226 ties her for eighth on NU's all-time top 54-hole tournament scores. She leads theWildcats in stroke average at 75.90 and in four tournaments this year.
