Womens Golf Heads to Indiana Invitational

EVANSTON, Ill. -- The Northwestern womens golf team travels this weekend to Bloomington, Ind., for the Indiana Invitational, scheduled for Sat.-Sun., April 10-11, at the Indiana University Golf Course (5,661 yards, par 72). The field for the tournament includes 13 teams: Illinois, Illinois State, Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Ohio, Ohio State, Purdue, Southern Illinois and Wisconsin.

The teams will play 36 holes on Saturday with the final 18 holes scheduled for Sunday morning. Results will posted following each days competition on Northwesterns official internet site (www.nusports.com).

NU is coming off a third-place tie at the Myrtle Beach Classic on March 27-28. Junior Karen England notched her best finish as a Wildcat, tying for runner-up honors at the tournament.
