Jennifer Anderson Wins Lakefront Cross Country Invitational

EVANSTON, Ill. Freshman Jennifer Anderson (Rockford, Ill./Auburn Academy) finished first among Division Icompetitors at the Lakefront Invitational hosted by Loyola University last Saturday. It was Anderson's first career title after twice finishing second earlier in the season. Anderson's time of 18:21 was her best of the season.
As a team, the Wildcats finished second with 80 points in the 16team event. Eastern Kentucky won the event with 60 points.
Another freshmen, Cherisse Lancaster (Palatine, Ill./Palatine) finished in a tie for 10th with a time of 18:48. Senior Mary Beth Ellis (Lewes, Del./Lawrenceville School) finished 13th with a time of 18:55.
